Latest update: Billy Joe Gregg, caught on film, is being charged with 12 counts of Animal Cruelty, which carries a total maximum penalty of 90 days in jail. Farm Sanctuary is trying to get the State to hand over the tortured animals, but officials insist that there is not enough evidence of cruelty to “confiscate” the animals.
Bull crap, there is plunty of evidence, look at the damn video for god sack. He needs to be in jail a lot longer than 90 days. Or worse, he needs to feel the same pain as he gave those helpless cows. These kind of people make me sick….It breaks my heart.
Moderator: BJ Viehl and Alex Hall are looking at 6 years in prison for liberating two mink “farms,” and this kind of insane cruelty gets someone a max of 90 days – which he probably will not get.
The Ohio Humane Society says there isn’t enough evidence to tell which animals are the ones that need the most rehab, so there isn’t any way of sending the right abused cows to Farm Sanctuary. As far as we are concerned, factory farms are traumatic plain and simple. No animal can avoid significant pain in these places, and it takes extremely loving processes of rehabilitation to get them back to a place like normal. All these animals should be rescued. Farm Sanctuary is great in working to do this.
