Directions from western Mesick BP (not the eastern Mesick BP) & Brew Ha coffee shop @ M-37 & M-115:
(for those arriving from points north via US 2 / Canada / Mackinac Bridge.)
Take M-37 south 4.8 miles
Turn left (east) on 24 Rd
Continue on 24 Rd into the woods, past where most traffic turns right (south), continue east as 24 Rd turns into trail in the woods
(Watch out for the black lab who lives at the house near the entrance to the woods. They like to come out in the trail and bark.)
After a curve, turn left into a field on forest road 5036
After driving over a hill through the field and reentering the woods, turn left on forest road 5647
You are now on the trail to the Welcome Tent!
