Software that crashes mid-hand or lags during key moments can cost players real money, so this gets serious weight in our reviews.

Rake adds up fast, and how a room gives back to its players matters. We dig into rakeback programs, loyalty schemes, and ongoing promotions, checking the fine print for playthrough requirements or restrictions that make offers less generous than they first appear. We’re just as interested in what a promotion doesn’t say as what it does.

Getting money on and off a poker site should be straightforward. We review the range of deposit and withdrawal methods available, processing times, any associated fees, and how reliably the room handles cashouts. A poker site that makes withdrawals slow or complicated loses points here regardless of how good its games are.
Security
Player funds and personal data need real protection. We look at licensing, encryption standards, and how a site handles account verification. A poker room that cuts corners on security doesn’t make it onto our recommended lists, no matter how appealing other aspects might be.
